Marlene and Rebecca Verbotene Liebe Continued (Spoilers Alert)

"Need some space be back in three days." Marlene

Marlene goes off on a short vacation to New York, where she thinks that when she returns she will be
living loves young dream with Tristan whilst she is trying to forget her feelings for Rebecca as well as stop reliving their one passionate evening together. Rebecca however just gets stuck into her work and spending time with her gay friends Olli and Christan. When Marlene suddenly returns Rebecca is ecstatic but Marlene is torn between her feelings and goes with the expected pretending that she is in love with Tristan and that she and Rebecca should forget about what went on between them and go back to just being best friends.
However she apologizes profusely for hurting/upsetting Rebecca but Rebecca is not interested in her halfhearted apologies. Rebecca is clearly heartbroken by this and distances herself from Marlene in every sense however Marlene does not see it the same way and keeps appearing out of nowhere. Marlene even goes to the extreme to agreeing to marry Tristan even though she initially had doubts when he first asked her. The distance may have done the world of good for Tristan and Marlene however it's had the adverse effect with Marlene and Rebecca.
Marlene keeps assuring her that they continue the friendship as long as
they forget the past which leads the two to clash continuously, as Marlene has no idea of the boundaries any more and Rebecca keeps putting boundaries between them to prevent herself from getting hurt further.  The relationship rapidly falls apart further when Tristan tries in vain to work out why the two aren't as close as they once were which only adds fuel to fire for Rebecca  and petrifies Marlene as she thinks Rebecca will out their romantic liaison at anytime. With Tristan being excited about getting married to
Marlene he tries to discuss preparations with her but her mind always seems to wander back to Rebecca, her touch, her kisses, their time together. When Tristan suggests that Rebecca be Marlene's witness as they are best friends she brushes it off stating that Tanja is her best friend. Tristan being the caring, loving man that her is tries to tell her that she only feels that way as Rebecca wasn't ecstatic that the two were getting married as she is worried she will lose her friend. You slowly watch as Tristan falls more and more in love with Marlene, Rebecca distances herself more and more from the family Tristan and Marlene in particular. Yet again Tristan tries to step in and reunite the two but this time Rebecca comes clean with her feelings, leaving Tristan feeling somewhat betrayed and confused. He soon apologizes but not without first being arrogant about it saying without saying the exact word that Marlene would not be interested in Rebecca as she's not her type as she is a female (little does he know that she not only interested but has already consummated their situation-ship.) This only further infuriates Rebecca who is about to out the fact that she and Marlene have been intimate but when Marlene appears behind Tristan she decides against it and storms off.
Jealously soon rears it ugly head for Marlene when she thinks another woman is interested in
Rebecca. Marlene and Juliette are working on a photo shoot together as the models, initially Marlene isn't able to portray the jealously look that they need but as soon as she sees what she interprets as flirting between Rebecca and Juliette she is soon able to play the part perfectly. When Rebecca and Juliette decide to hang out at 'No Limits' which is Marlene and Tristan's business, she
seems to watch the two like a hawk to the extent where Juliette notices and brings it to Rebecca's attention which seems to somewhat annoy her but then she uses it to her advantage to slightly flirt with Juliette.
Marlene coincidentally collides with Rebecca just as she is carrying two glasses of champagne back to her seat, the drinks spill all over the pair of them and the glasses shatter/break as they hit the ground. Rebecca instinctively squats down to clear up the class so no-one will get hurt as does Marlene, they reach for the same piece where Marlene takes hold of Rebecca's hand and begins to stroke it affectionately which angers Rebecca as she snatches her hand away. This action appears to hurt both of them, Rebecca because she knows the feelings won't be reciprocated as Marlene is with Tristan and Marlene because she is with Tristan. When Marlene and Tristan get into an argument about both Marlene and Rebecca's intentions to one another the shit hits the fan as Marlene not only admits that she feels something more than friendship for her. Without warning Rebecca she gets into what she thinks is a friendly fencing exercise with Tristan. Initially it seems like a little competition between the two but soon his aggressive behavior soon proves otherwise, leaving Rebecca afraid and Tristan writhing with anger. Just as the dust settles from that confession Marlene goes on to tell Tristan that she and Rebecca have slept together. That truly tips Tristan over the edge making him become an aggressive, unbearable person to be around for anyone who has the misfortune of being in his company.

Marlene and Rebecca Verbotene Liebe (Spoilers Alert)

This by far was one of the most confusing love triangle friendships/relationships I encountered, there seems to be a connection between the two from day one which is more than a friendship but less than a relationship initially. Marlene previously came into Rebecca's life as she was married to Rebecca's brother Hagen. The marriage broke down to due to various different reasons however the two remain close specifically after Marlene is raped by someone she knows but he in turn tries to claim that she agreed and had lead him on throughout the whole night.
After the rape and dealing with it Marlene also becomes close to Rebecca and Hagen's brother Tristan. The two quickly enter into a relationship however not physical right away as Marlene can not bare to be in tight fitting clothes (due to body dysmorphia)  that show off her figure let alone be naked. Slowly Rebecca helps her to get over the fear she now has developed due to horrible circumstances. The two develop a new found friendship and on Rebecca's side what appears to be a unrequited love for her brother's 'straight' girlfriend. Which first began after a kiss during a
game of 'spin the bottle'.  The two spend a vast amount of time together which Marlene doesn't see an issue with but Rebecca is finding it harder and harder to hide her newfound feelings which Marlene is oblivious to as is Tristan. Rebecca initially tries to ignore her feelings for Marlene as she knows nothing will come of it but with what appears to be flirting and something more than a friendship. The private jokes, the looks that last for too long, the whole bikini photo shoot alone sends mixed signals on both sides. As well as the girls sleepover that soon became just a sleepover for the two of them when Marlene's sisters left whilst Marlene was getting a fencing lesson. It soon
ended with them cuddled up on the couch watching a movie only for the two of them to casually fall asleep with Marlene draping her arm over Rebecca in a loving embrace. Tristan seems to see the funny side of it when he comes in the next morning with coffee for the three of them, Marlene merely sees it as nothing out of the ordinary whilst Rebecca seems embarrassed somewhat ashamed of their actions. There does come a point when Marlene guesses that Rebecca has a crush on her as Rebecca states that the woman she likes is blond with blue eyes which Marlene has, Rebecca plays it

down saying it's someone else. Rebecca eventually confides in Marlene that she has feelings for her in a love letter. Tristan finds part of it and assumes it's Christian who is Marlene's admirer. There's just two issues with Tristian assuming that it's Christian A-he's gay and B-he's in a loving monogamous relationship with Olli.  He's soon proved wrong when he bursts into Christian's hotel room expecting to find a half naked Marlene when instead all he finds is a
half naked Olli waiting to celebrate his anniversary with his partner. At that point Rebecca and Marlene haven't done anything romantic together, well minus the kiss during 'spin the bottle' and a sleepy kiss that they shared.

Things soon start to heat up between the two when
Rebecca tries to end the friendship as she knows she wants more and the only way to get over it is to cut all ties. However Marlene now seems to realize how much she values Rebecca in her life even more than she originally knew. The two soon end up in bed together and seem to be really happy but soon Tristan comes knocking looking for Marlene and the guilt is written over both their faces separately as Rebecca talks to Tristan assuring him she does not know where she is and to let her cool down, Marlene hides in the bathroom half naked listening to the whole conversation and feeling worse. I think Marlene feels conflicted at that time as she doesn't regret sleeping with Rebecca as she is falling for her but she also feels guilty as she has cheated on her finance with his sister of all people. Tristan thinking he has yet again disturbed another couples night apologizes and leaves, Marlene soon follows after leaving both women feeling both the same yet different things at the same time.
