Pretty Little Liars Charles or better known as Charlotte 'Cece'

Charles is a rather perplexed and lonely character trapped in a family that weren't very accepting initially. He's biologically a boy but he feels/identifies as a female. Wanting to dress, act, and be addressed with the female pronouns. His loving Mother comes round to the idea once he is locked way in Radley for an incident which was an accident but the parents took as something that they could not risk again. Charles seems to blossom in Radley in the beginning as he makes friends with another girl who is his age but yet again tragedy strikes when the friend in question pushes someone to their death and blames Charles.
Even with that going against him his Mother sees the struggles he is having both internally and externally that she addresses him as Charlotte and begins to buy him identical clothes to that of Alison. Which makes him feel as though someone understands him but then again also starts the deception and manipulation of others. With his Mother now addressing him in the manner he feels is true to him, he is also encouraged to not tell their family of their visits. Even as a young child when he gets to celebrate his birthday with his brother Jason and younger sister Alison he is not to address them as his siblings. He initially tries to win his fathers love and affection by conforming to what he thought his father would like, so only dressing as a girl in private or merely in the company of his mother.
"So all this time you've been pretending to go to school while you're running around Rosewood with my children?" Mrs Di Laurentis.
"I'm your child too....I just wanted to be with my family." Cece Drake

Charlotte soon begins to manipulate others in order to get what she wants, she poses as Cece Drake dates Jason and bestfriends with Alison all so she can be close to her family when she is invited on a mini vacation with the Di Laurentis family. Since Jason has been told from childhood that his brother Charles 'Charlie' was merely a figment of his imagination, he does not seem to notice the resemblance between him and his now girlfriend. Alison was too young to remember Charles, Mr Di Laurentis has not seen Charles in years as far as he knows Charles died years back, he thinks Cece is a good influence on Jason however Mrs Di Laurentis knows who she is and is disturbed by the relationship. Cece soon declares that her and Jason did not do anything sexual/physical within the time they were dating.
When Cece finally reveals her true identity to her Jason, Alison and Mr Di Laurentis Alison is the only one who is understanding straight away. She's not as judgemental as her father was in the past and isn't confused like Jason is in finding out that it's both his brother Charlie and his ex girlfriend.
