Carmen began her career straight after university, she initially refurbished small paintings of upcoming and unknown artists but after her boss realising her potential he encouraged and offered her the position or refurbishing older paintings that were in museums, that rich folks owned or those abroad that did not have the facilities to refurbish them themselves. She has since then become a renown name when it comes to paintings refurbishment and has her a share in the company she first joined with.

Grace was always an out lesbian which her family found quite hard to deal with. Her family initially disowned her but when they saw how serious she was about Grace they welcomed them both back into the family with open arms.
